 a rainy day
a sip of hot coffee
a bowl of noodles
with herbal soup and meat

  1. Nice breakfast menu to start a rainy day, Balqis. It's raining here too.

It's a simple but nice poem. But if it's my poem, I will change the last sentence to perhaps 'Cherishing the rain' coz I love rainy day. heheheh.

    Have a nice weekend sis.

    1. I don't know whether to call this a poem, Christine. My mind was quite blank, so just scribbled a few lines. Yup, you can cherish the rain but too much rain will cause flood! That's what happening in some parts of our country now.

Thanks for dropping by. Do have a nice weekend, too! :)

  7. A very comforting way to spend the afternoon. It's been raining all night over here, and you've got me thinking about that soup for later.

    1. Much thanks for your warm words, Od. Everyday we have to watch out for grey sky and what it brings. For most of us, it had been a traumatic experience facing flood, so unprecedented. Over many decades, my town had never been hit by such natural disaster.

Staying at home is as a solution from being drenched by the rain. In about a month, the monsoon season will be over.

Actually, I didn't know what else to write, so the lines were just simply penned. Thank you, Od, for your positive comments.

What else could I say? When it's monsoon, then it's still monsoon! :)
